Colbert Outdoors began as a creative outlet to begin filming my time in the great outdoors.  What began as a hobby has now evolved into a deep passion of sharing my adventures and experiences in the great outdoors, mostly through the lens of fly fishing, hiking, backpacking and backcountry camping.  I've learned through the years that, not only do I love these outdoor experiences, I love telling stories and putting together a narrative that allows me to share my experiences with others.  This is where my YouTube channel was born.  It is my hope that I can inspire others to step out and enjoy God's beautiful creation by creating their own adventures and memories in the field.  If I can do that, then my channel has been a success.  I have always loved hunting, fishing, and camping since I was a child, but most of my stories and experiences were only able to be shared via word of mouth and a few still pictures I would share with family and friends.  Now I have the opportunity to take you along on my journey and I am so thankful to be able to share some of my adventures with you.  Thank you so much to those of you who follow and support our Youtube channel and our brand.  Being able to share these adventures with you and hopefully inspire you to create your own adventures has been an absolute joy!
